Cab Income ("Cab Income", "we", "our", or "us") provides an Android application that helps drivers track trips, expenses, shift activity, and return on investment across ride platforms and private rides.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, how it is stored, and how users can contact us.

1. Information We Collect

Cab Income may collect or process the following categories of information:

• Account and profile information
  • Google account sign-in information made available through Firebase Authentication, such as your Google account identifier, email address, display name, and profile photo URL.
  • Optional profile details you add in the app, such as a phone number.
• Financial and operational data you create
  • Trips
  • Expenses
  • Vehicle details
  • Shift sessions
  • Ledger-related notes
  • Feed notes, friend presence, and shared snapshot data that you choose to create or sync

2. How We Use Information

Cab Income uses information to:

• Sign you in and associate your app data with your account
• Calculate profitability, ROI, reports, and ledger summaries
• Save and restore your data across signed-in devices
• Support optional notification-based ride capture
• Show your own feed notes, presence, and shared snapshots where those features are used
• Maintain app stability, data consistency, and sync behavior

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How Data Is Stored

Your information may be stored:

• Locally on your device in the app's local database.
• In Firebase Authentication for sign-in
• In Firebase Firestore for synced app data when you are signed in

Current synced Firestore data categories include:

• Vehicles
• Trips
• Expenses
• Shifts
• Feed notes
• Friend presence
• Share snapshots

4. Backup and Restore

Cab Income may use Android backup and device transfer features for supported local data.

Current backup behavior includes:

• Database backup for app records
• Shared Preferences backup for app settings and selection state

5. Sharing of Information

We may share data with service providers only as needed to operate the app, such as:

• Google Firebase Authentication
• Google Firebase Firestore

We show ads in the app using Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). AdMob and its certified ad partners may collect and process data to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and improve services. This can include:

• Device identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID)
• IP address, user agent, and basic device/app info
• Approximate location derived from network
• Ad interactions, impressions, and performance metrics

You can reset or limit the Android advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device settings. Ad preferences shown in-app (where available) let you change consent or personalization choices at any time.

6. Data Retention

We retain local and synced app data for as long as it remains in your account or on your device, unless you delete it or we are required to remove it for operational or legal reasons.

Some data may be removed when:

• You delete entries inside the app
• Local app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect information handled by the app, including authenticated access through Firebase services and app-local storage on the device.

However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Cab Income is not intended for children.

9. Your Choices

You can:

• Choose whether to sign in with Google
• Choose whether to enable notification access
• Edit or delete certain app data inside the app
• Clear local data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage on your device

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
